The best way to explore the world and find the truth is to ask questions. Father Brown knows that for sure. He never takes things for granted. If he were,  dozens of innocent people had been hanged and murderers would have escaped justice.

I truly admire the character that had been created by the authors of the series. Should read the book and check out if Chesterton had the same person on his mind while writing the book.

Never prejudiced, never emotional. He relies on facts, observations and never looses his belief – in God and in the good in any human even in those who committed crimes. He had a narrow escape more than once and if it were real life he would have suffered for his trust and beliefs. Still the character teaches with his deeds and never preaches. As he finds preachings boring and never cares much for what others say or think. ather Brown knows better. He truly does.
