When envy stings it is better to feel it fully, admit it and face it. It is better to dismantle it and see what it is made of. It might be even interesting to see the mechanism at work: who said what to evoke it, why it appeared, what were the conditions for it to grow, why bother at all, what might the consequences be and how this feeling affects relations. There are plenty to analyze and at the end of it all, envy becomes a story – about you or about those who you envy. And there are various sides of that story – there is something you want and something you don’t want and eventually, you understand that there is nothing to envy. It is just one more story. There are millions of them and you just can’t live them all as your own.
